After we broke camp in Grace, ID (after a delightful, but very windy stay), we were happily motoring down I-15, when another guy towing a trailer pulled up next to us, and started waving frantically to get our attention... apparently, about 10 miles before, one of our awnings that covers a "slide-out" actually fell off the trailer, into traffic. Literally fell off. Into traffic.
I doubled back after we dropped the trailer, and sure enough, there it was by the side of the freeway. Ugh. Thankfully, we don't need it to travel, but will need to replace it sooner rather than later.
We are camped by Utah Lake tonight, anticipating a very relaxing evening after a very busy day... and then taking off on Friday morning for Des Moines, IA. :)
On the way, we'll be stopped at, and camping at, several farms along the way that cater to RVers.
