Of Dear Friends and Monkeys

One of the more unique experiences we had in Indianola Beach was being right next to a zoo... seriously.  It was a private zoo, operated before COVID, by a wonderful couple named Rusty and Annette McFarlin... who became dear, close friends during our time here.  They almost had us convinced to move there, so that we could continue to enjoy our friendship longer... we dearly love them, and the friendship and kindness that they showed us.  We spent both Thanksgiving and Christmas with them... and endured the Winds of Hell with them as well... but more on that later.

Jayla, the spider monkey... loved me.  Tried to follow me  home once... the Capuchin, Tiko, liked to pee on everybody when you were least expecting it, so he kept you on your toes.  I don't think Jayla liked Tracy very much, though... tried to pull her hair out by the roots...
